ASGN Incorporated is proud to have joined the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), and we continue to make headway on our commitment to continual improvement in environmental, social and governance (ESG) initiatives.

On May 31, 2021, ASGN Incorporated became an official UN Global Compact Participant, joining over 13,000 companies across the globe committed to upholding the Ten Principles of the UNGC in the fundamental categories of respecting human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption.

"Although we have come a long way in such a short period of time, we recognize that our efforts are still a work in progress." —Ted Hanson, President & CEO, ASGN Incorporated

To demonstrate our commitment, elevate our company, and deepen the support of our people and the communities where we live and work, we are in the process of developing a variety of company-wide policies and programs spanning from human rights to corporate giving. We are also in the process of soliciting broad-based input by conducting a materiality assessment with a wide cross-section of key internal and external stakeholders. We will share these results and illustrate how ASGN aligns with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs). Our overarching goal continues to be contributing to a better and more sustainable future for all.

In the words of our President and CEO, Ted Hanson: “Although we have come a long way in such a short period of time, we recognize that our efforts are still a work in progress. To succeed as a company, it is essential that ASGN maintains a solid reputation as a strong and trustworthy partner who demonstrates excellence in all aspects of our business. We must not just say we will adhere to our ESG goals, but we must commit to doing so and track our progress along the way.”

As stated in our 2020 ESG Report, we pledge to further advance our diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) programming which includes increasing the diversity among our senior executives and supporting Employee Resource Groups (ERGs). We also pledge to, whenever possible, measure our company’s building operations carbon footprint and track our progress over time, as well as continually improve our operating performance to conserve resources, reduce our waste, and begin the transition toward carbon neutrality while increasing our overall positive contributions to society and maintaining high productivity for our stakeholders.

As we continue down this path, we look forward to sharing our progress and successes with all of our stakeholders. In addition to reporting our progress through our annual ESG report, we will also submit our Communication on Progress (COP) to the UNGC on an annual basis.
